It's been a busy few months for Alfe's Cause including preparing to apply for funding to begin a new project in 2013. There have been a couple of fun days out for the families, in October we were fortunate enough to be awarded free tickets to Gullivers theme park where we all had a lot of fun including getting soaked on the log flume and screaming on the rollercoasters. On 3rd November 24 of us went to Disney on Ice and had a great time watching the characters skate.
Our last fundraising event is taking place on Saturday 1st December at Duston United Reformed Church between half past one and half past three. We are holding an arts and crafts afternoon for children and their families to come along and make Chrismas crafts. There is no entrance fee but donations are welcome on the day. Suitable for children aged 1-10. Activities include card making, snowman calendars, making crackers, tree decorations, paper chains and painting.
