We have had an amazing afternoon ice skating at Beckworth Emporium today with over 20 charity children and their grown ups taking to the ice. As expected the children showed the grown ups how to skate and most grown ups needed support on the ice steadying themselves with a push along penguin.
Some of the children had their first experience on the ice today and the smiles that resulted from this was wonderful to see.
For one hour the families were just happy been families together in each others company and enjoyed the distraction of not thinking about treatment or transplants.
