On Sunday Alfe's Cause held their yearly fundraiser at St Crispins and Ryelands Cricket Club. It had been a busy week of publicity with Alfe, his sister and mum featuring in the local paper and Alfe going along to the radio station for his first live interview. Here he is with the presenter John Griff.
Unfortunately due to the weather not many people attended the event so we were really pleased to raise £500. This money will pay for three events for families to enjoy without the financial worry. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the afternoon.
