Bakers of all ages are invited to enter the Roald Dahl themed Iron Cupcake competiton. It is free to enter and there will be prizes for the Junior and Adult winners.
To enter please log yourself in as a Baker at www.wegottickets.com Iron Cupcake Roald Dahl theme.
Cakes will be judged on flavour, appearance and interpretation of the theme. You will need to bring a stand to display your cakes on and finally you will need to name your cupcakes so people know which ones to vote for.
Eaters: There is no entrance fee but we are asking for donations from those who wish to take part in tasting (suggested £5 per taster for as much cake as you can eat plus free tea and coffee.) This will be collected on the day. All monies raised will go to Alfe's Cause.
Registration will take place between 2pm-3pm.
Eating will be from 3pm.
Votes counted and winners announced 4.45pm.
THE RULES:
Bakers should make a minimum of 12 cupcakes interpreting the theme in whichever way you choose -you may submit more than 12.
You can make more than one variety of cake, there are no maximum number of entries but please make at least 12 of each variety.
Let us know any details about special ingredients you have used so we can label accurately (gluten free, vegan etc.)
Please only use free range eggs.
PARKING: There is limited parking at the venue. There is parking on the streets nearby.
