Bugtopia

Saturday saw lots of the charity families getting together for the monthly activity meeting. This time we had been asked to organise a visit to Bugtopia at Green Trunks Garden Centre in Great Cransley. For anyone who hasn't been it is totally recommended! For nearly an hour we were encouraged to hold and learnt all about cockroaches, stick insects, tarantulas and lizards. As expected the kids were braver than the adults, although by the end of the experience most adults had followed the children's lead and held at least one creature. Thank you to Darren Game for capturing the memories. We hope the families have a great time in October when they will be visiting Gulliver's Theme Park at Milton Keynes.

PRIDE IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE AWARDS 2014

On Friday 27th September Trustees Shirley and Karen will be going along to Wicksteed Park for the Pride in Northamptonshire 2014 awards, joined by family and friends, as both have been nominated and are finalists in the Northamptonshire Community award category for making a difference to their local community.
