Since our last update lots of wonderful things have happened and so first of all I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us in the Lloyds Fund, the results of which will be announced the week of the 25th November, to Brackley District Round Table for their kind donation of £200, to Waitrose in Rushden for choosing us as one of their 3 groups in December to take part in the Community Matters scheme where we will be awarded a share of £1,000 depending on how many tokens are put in our box and to the companies who are donating selection boxes and donating money towards buying annuals for each of the 40 children visiting Santa on Christmas Eve and Hunsbury Ironstone Railway.
Our biggest and most exciting update is that after a successful meeting we will now be working with Poppy's Place so that families can gain the most benefit from what we and they offer. To find out about what Poppy's Place do visit: http://www.poppysplace.org.uk/ We are truly grateful to both Sally and Dr Tom for wanting to work with us and I look forward to sharing developments as they happen.
